Sto lavorando sul classico di Alexandre Dumas, I Tre Moschettieri, versione integrale per la casa editrice spagnola Teide. La ricerca storica, il character e la regia  delle pagine si è spesa in tre mesi e mezzo.  Per questo progetto mi sto avvalendo di modelli in carne ed ossa che posano nelle varie tavole per caratterizzare al meglio i personaggi. La tecnica di realizzazione è molto varia e sperimentale. Grazie alle ampie macchie d’acquerello ed inchiostro sto cercando di ricreare un aria rarefatta  ed antica, come fossero dagherrotipi sovraesposti ma con caratteristiche contemporanee. Qui sopra particolare della tavolache  presenta Milady.

I’m working on the classic by Alexandre Dumas, The Three Musketeers, full version for the spanish publishing house Teide. The Historical research, the character and direction of the pages was made in three months. For this project I’m using real models posing in the various pictures. The technique used is quite varied and experimental. Due to the large spots of watercolor and ink I’m trying to recreate an ancient and rarefied air, like overexposed daguerreotypes but with contemporary features. Above the opening picture of Milady.

Days after Japan diasaster, Art Ehon of Tokyo contacted me, together with other illustrators, for a really nice project: to create a collection of illustrations to devolve the takings to the Japanese Red Cross. This is my contribution.

Qualche giorno dopo la catastrofe del Giappone, la Art Ehon di Tokyo mi ha contattato, insieme ad altri illustratori per un gran bel progetto: creare una raccolta d’illustrazioni e devolvere gli incassi alla Croce Rossa nipponica. Questo è il mio contributo.
