Based in Rome, Gianluca Folì is an award-winning illustrator with over three decades of international experience. His work moves between literary publishing, editorial journalism, fashion and cultural institutions in a constant search for balance between narrative depth and formal elegance, turning every image into an essential yet layered story.

Over the years he has received numerous accolades, including a Gold Medal from the Society of Illustrators New York, a Silver Medal from the Society of Illustrators Los Angeles, the Communication Arts Award of Excellence, the ADC 100th Award, and the Hiii Best of the Best. His distinctive vision has served major names such as The New York Times, Taschen, Fendi, Nespresso, and Max Mara, among others, seamlessly integrating high-profile commercial projects with a coherent and recognizable artistic practice. In the field of Italian literature, he has worked alongside authors including Stefano Benni, Antonio Moresco, and Maurizio Maggiani, and his picture book La Scimmia has been translated into twelve languages.

Gianluca also serves as Art Director for Epson Italy's Colortelling project and regularly collaborates with leading Italian publishers, including Feltrinelli and Mondadori. In 2021, he released his first artist monograph, Ostinato Sguardo (MOM Editore).
